Embodied Soulful Psychotherapy

For women who feel empty, lost, burnt out, overwhelmed and disconnected,
yet long to reconnect to their bodies, intuition and authentic soul nature.

If you are moving through a major life transition, struggling with low self-worth, or caught in cycles of shame, panic, and self-doubt… you are not alone.

To begin working with me, you can get in touch below.

Are you frequently hijacked by a punitive inner critic? Do you feel like you’re flatlining - sleepwalking through your days feeling empty, lost, overwhelmed and disconnected?

Over the years, I have worked with many hundreds of women who have experienced life in a similar way. I know these states intimately, having walked my own heroine’s journey of healing, integration and transformation.

What is possible

Now, it is my intention to support you in transforming your experience and beginning to delight in yourself once again.

Together we work towards more ease, confidence, spirit, deepened intuition, presence and self-belief, so you can begin to feel more grounded and centered, at home within your body, yourself and your own life.

With love,

Kate

How I can help

Hi, I’m Kate Merrick, an experienced embodied psychotherapist, mother and folk herbalist.

For over two decades, I have supported women navigating trauma, low self-esteem, shame and the impact of early relational wounding. I specialise in Complex PTSD, developmental trauma and post-traumatic growth.

Many of the women I work with feel stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected from themselves, their bodies and their inner knowing.

What I support you with

I work with women experiencing:

Low self-worth and fragile self-esteem
A harsh or punitive inner critic
Anxiety, shame and emotional overwhelm
Disconnection from body, intuition or voice
The impact of early developmental or relational trauma
Life transitions and initiatory thresholds

How I work

My work weaves together talking therapy, movement, touch and sound within an embodied, psycho-spiritual approach that is rooted in the body, the psyche and the deeper layers of lived experience.

In our work together, we listen not only to what is spoken, but to what is felt, symbolised and carried beneath the surface - through your body, through dreams, through relational patterns and through the deeper ancestral and archetypal threads that shape your inner world.

This process supports you to:

develop greater self-awareness
release outdated beliefs and inherited relational patterns
strengthen internal resources and emotional resilience
reconnect with a deeper sense of safety, autonomy and inner freedom
