Online and Somerset-based female psychotherapist

I’m a qualified adult Gestalt psychotherapist, trauma specialist, mother, writer, folk herbalist and Biodynamic massage practitioner. I have worked in the field of health and wellness since 2007, specialising in Complex PTSD and early childhood trauma.

My work focuses on anxiety, low self-worth, fragile self-esteem, women’s life cycles and the healing of ancestral and intergenerational trauma.

My own experience as a woman of mixed heritage informs my interest in trauma, culture, ancestral legacy, female identity and women’s health. I am also moving through my own midlife threshold and I feel particularly drawn to supporting women through rites of passage, cyclical transitions and times of deep inner change.

Originally trained at the Gestalt Centre London, I have developed an integrative way of working that brings together my training in complex trauma and post-traumatic growth with a deep reverence for the wisdom of the body and the natural world.

My work supports the whole arc of a woman’s lived experience - from early development and in utero imprinting through to present-day relational and emotional patterns.

Alongside this, I draw upon ancestral and nature-based ways of knowing, including dreams, archetypal inquiry, therapeutic touch, sound, energy work, plant medicine and creative expression. These are not separate techniques, but part of an embodied and intuitive psycho spiritual approach to psychotherapy.

Together, we work at the level of psyche, soul, body and lineage to support deeper healing, integration and self-understanding.

I also have an online shop where I offer organic, handmade therapeutic herbal balms, elixirs, and teas to support mind, body, and spirit: www.rushmeadfarm.com
